September 9, 2018 - A year ago today I said NO. No more physical abuse.

This was the last time my ex-husband would physically hurt me. I’ll never forget the hard pressure I felt in my stomach and the drop in my heart as I flew back, hit the glass table and fell to the floor and wept.

Enough. I’m done.

~

I was done with it all; his psychological, emotional and manipulative games. Over the years and previous months, I was dying inside. Chelsea was fading. Chelsea was dying. I was allowing Taylor to kill her.

This day and several other days to follow are incredibly significant to me. And, I’ll share those days with you as they come along. It’s been a year...and that is shocking. This year has been absolutely unbelievable. I am so fortunate and I am so grateful. I have been showered with love by all those who have entered my life this year. From Portland to Boise... to Boise to Italy...to Italy to Florida.

So, on this day... Sept 9. This was the day I said no more. The last time my suffering ex-husband would physically hurt me.
